It doesnt matter who you are, everyone wants to get whatever they are buying for the best price possible. This is definitly true for web design, and just like many other trades, you really do get what you pay for.
However, unlike many trades (painting cars springs to mind) if you buy a cheap website, it should work and appear cheap – it should simply have less features than the next package up.
We offer websites for £250 + vat – its our lowest priced package, and we basically ask the customer to supply content, images, a logo and some colour choices, and we take care of the rest.
So far we have done two of these sites for different customers and they have both been happy with the websites first time – so much so one has ordered another straight away.
Every website we do uses the wordrpess framework, and is totally scalable – so if these guys want to upgrade at a later date they can, and keep their existing content and page structure in place therefore retainninig all search engine entries

Mansfield has a huge skate community and has had for years now! Unfortunately they have not always had a place to go that was local, until NOW!
Thanks to Mansfield District Council, Nottinghamshire County Council and The Big Lottery Fund Mansfield has finally been granted to have its own Skate Park which is now known as the Mansfield Skate Plaza.
and of course….. we just had to provide them with a state of the art web design content management system to give things a little kick. The guys and girls who use the plaza are over the moon and use it on a regular basis…
For more information about Mansfield’s new skate park please visit http://www.mansfieldskateplaza.co.uk or to find out more about Web Design Mansfield please do not hesitate to give our office a call…
Whenever we build a website using WordPress and the client request a gallery – we always use NextGEN.
I cant fault them for the features it offers, its a fantastic bit of kit – but when it actually comes to the shortcodes to get it to display stuff – NextGEN fail big time.
So i google it every time, sometimes finding what i want – but most of the time having to piece it together from examples people have p=ut on forums.
Today, i found a blog that lists many of the Shortcodes – so i thought i’d repeat them so they are easier for people to find! – Thanks InfoPint!
Short codes are the piece of text which you add along with you text on your blog post or sidebars. Short codes can also be added inside the theme templates.
